UCCB – Are All of Your Children Accounted For?

Now that the dust has settled on the expanded Universal Child Care Benefit (UCCB) program, it is time to check that all of your eligible children are included in the calculation.

If you have a child 17 years of age or under, you need to check your UCCB statement, or go online to CRA’s “My Account”, and double check that all of your children are listed.

If you have a child that is missing, then you need to apply. Simply fill out the application form you will find here http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/E/pbg/tf/rc66/README.html, and submit it to CRA with the appropriate documentation.

CRA will issue any retroactive payments from January 1, 2015 to when they approve your application.
