Golden Bean Award
While this award obviously has a veneer of humour, its underlying intent is very sincere: to recognize excellence in controllership in the private business sector.
Over the years we have worked on numerous sets of books and waded through untold messes. Lay people view book-keeping as a very simple task, slightly above lawn cutting on a scale of difficulty. In fact, book-keeping is non-trivial and controllership skills are essential to a successful firm.
The Golden Bean Award comes with a gift certificate, as well as a trophy.
