Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science degree with honors in biochemistry in 1977 and returned to U.B.C. to complete her M.B.A. with a focus on finance in 1981.

Her business career started in Montreal and then Toronto as an analyst in the underwriting division of Merrill Lynch. After moving to the west coast, Stephanie gained experience in the real estate and pharmaceutical industries. She returned to the investment industry in 1995 as an investment advisor for a large investment firm, followed by a position with a national mutual fund company.

Stephanie completed the Canadian Institute of Financial Planning program in 1997 and obtained her certification as a Financial Planner in 1998. She completed the required Level 1 of the Chartered Financial Analyst program and also acquired her Canadian Investment Manager designation (CIM) in 2001.

She has been active as an instructor in business courses at B.C.I.T. since 1989 and has taught courses in the financial planning programs at local colleges and S.F.U.

Stephanie is licensed with the BC Securities Commission as a Portfolio Manager and she is the Investment Manager of our investment counsel firm, A.F.T. TRIVEST Management Inc.
