Viewing Tips

  • Slides will advance automatically as the QuickTime movie plays.
  • However, you can also use the Left and Right Arrow keys on your keyboard to control how you move through the slides, one at a time.
  • Use the Enter key on your keyboard to start and stop the audio.
  • You can also navigate through the presentation using your mouse to access the QuickTime player window’s playhead and Play / Stop buttons.

* Note: If you do not see the “Play Now” buttons in the table, this may indicate that the QuickTime player is not installed on your system. Please refer to the technical requirements below.

Technical Requirements

Internet multimedia capable PC – With a sound card, speakers, a minimum 56K modem and a connection to an Internet service. Please note that we cannot guarantee results for those using older computers with slower modems.

QuickTime Player – The free version of QuickTime 6 (or later) is required to watch the audio/visual lecture presentations (MOV format). This software can be installed by downloading it directly from Apple. Note that, although you may be prompted with the option to purchase an upgrade to QuickTime Pro, there is NO requirement to do so for the purposes of viewing these lectures (click the Later button in the dialogue box to proceed). Note also that you do not require the iTunes version of QuickTime player to view the presentations.
